Overview
This topic describes the runtime environment, development methods, log collection, and deployment methods for Native Node.js runtime functions (hereinafter referred to as "Native Node.js functions").
The Native Node.js runtime allows users to develop web applications based on the native Node.js framework.
The Native Node.js runtime includes the following built-in Node.js versions.
If you want to use another Node.js version, use the image-based deployment method for the Native runtime: add the runtime for the required language to the Dockerfile, package it into an image, and deploy the image. Example: Include a runtime environment corresponding to the development language in a Dockerfile.
The container environment of the Native Node.js runtime is as follows:
- OS version: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye).
Write operations are only permitted in the /tmp directory within the container. The default temporary storage capacity is 512 MiB. If the capacity limit is exceeded, the service will be evicted and restarted.
tip
Local user data written to disk is not persistent. Data will be deleted when the container is destroyed. Proceed with caution. For persistent storage, see Selecting storage for functions. Last updated: 2026.08.19 14:06:07
