Node.js functions support both online editing in the console and uploading code packages. When you submit a code ZIP package by uploading a local ZIP file or uploading the package from TOS, follow the rules below.
- The code package must contain a JavaScript source file named index.js.
- The index.js file must contain a Node.js function named handler.
- The index.js file and related dependencies must comply with the Node.js version specifications.
- If the execution of the main program depends on other local files (e.g., config.yaml), two methods are supported: online dependency installation and packaging the dependency libraries together with the code for upload. For details, please see Node.js dependency installation.
- The size of ZIP files uploaded to the veFaaS console must not exceed 256 MiB. If the ZIP file size exceeds 256 MiB, submit a ticket for technical support.
