Account-level resource statistics (including GPUs)
veFaaS allows you to view the resource allocation of a Volcano Engine root user in a target region. This helps you understand resource usage ratios among different functions and allocate account-level resources rationally. This topic introduces account-level resource allocation and statistical information when GPU instances are present. Log in to the veFaaS console, select your business region, and choose Resource allocation in the left navigation pane to view resource allocation for your account in the target region. Resource allocation
The Resource allocation page displays key metrics, a pie chart of resource usage, and a bar chart of the top 5 memory-consuming functions:
- Total memory: Displays the total memory resources for the current account in the target region, including memory resources of GPU instances.
- Total graphics memory: Displays the total graphics memory resources for the current account in the target region.
- Deployed functions: Counts the number of released functions.
- Pie chart of memory resource usage statistics: Displays the proportions of allocated resources and available resources.
- Total memory = Allocated memory resources + Available memory resources
- Allocated resources = The sum of the maximum memory resources of all released functions within the current account.
- The maximum memory resources of each released function = Instance memory specification × Maximum instance count
- Bar chart showing the top 5 memory-consuming functions: Lists the top 5 released functions with the highest memory resource usage.
Usage ratio
The Resource ratio section displays the memory usage ratio, graphics memory usage ratio, and released function ratio within the current account. Memory usage ratio = Allocated memory resources / Total memory resources. Graphics memory usage ratio = Allocated graphics memory resources / Total graphics memory resources. Released function ratio = Released functions / Total number of functions To request more resources, click Apply for resources.
Allocation details
Displays the resource allocation information and latest usage for all released functions in a table. Allocation details include the function status, memory specification, graphics memory specification, instance count range, memory resource limit, graphics memory resource limit, memory usage ratio, graphics memory usage ratio, and more. Click the name of the target function to go to its Resource management page, where you can view or adjust the resources for the function. For more details, see Managing GPU function resources.
