Node.js SDK use cases
Using the veFaaS SDK makes it easier to create functions, upload code, and manage triggers. This topic introduces use cases for the Node.js SDK.
Instructions for use
The Node.js SDK is not yet officially supported. If you need to use the Node.js SDK, you can send OpenAPI requests after implementing authentication logic by using @volcengine/vcloud-core.
Installation dependency

npm install @volcengine/vcloud-core
npm install axios

Create "microservices apps" by deploying code through function templates
Specify code parameters based on your business requirements. For more information, see CreateFunction. The following table only introduces the special configurations when you create microservices apps.

Parameter
Description
Runtime
Set the Runtime running time of a function. microservices apps currently only support native/v1. For the Runtime supported by other functions, see Function key configurations.
CpuStrategy
CPU allocation method. Microservices apps have Always allocate CPU enabled by default, and the value is set to always.
Command
Start command of the program. The sample code above creates a "microservices app" through a function template. When the deployment method is a function template, you can directly use the execution script file in the root directory of the code package, and the default configuration is ./run.sh.

Validating results
After creating a function through the SDK, you can log in to the veFaaS console to see whether the function has been created. In addition, the CPU allocation mode of microservices apps is fixed to Always allocate CPU.
