Python functions support both online editing in the console and uploading code packages. When submitting a code package via a local ZIP file or TOS, follow the rules below.
- The code package must contain a Python source code file named index.py.
- The index.py file must contain a Python function named handler.
- The index.py file and its related dependency code must comply with Python version specifications.
- If the execution of the main program depends on other local files (such as config.yaml), you can install dependencies online, or package dependency libraries together with the code for upload. For details, see Python dependency installation.
- The maximum size of a ZIP file that can be uploaded via the veFaaS console is 256 MiB.
