veFaaS allows you to view the resource allocation of a Volcano Engine root user in a target region. This helps you understand resource usage ratios among different functions and allocate account-level resources appropriately. This topic introduces account-level resource allocation and statistical information. Log in to the veFaaS console, select your business region, and choose ‌Resource allocation‌ in the left navigation pane to view resource allocation for your account in the target region.

Resource statistics

The Resource statistics section displays key metrics, a pie chart of resource usage, and a bar chart of the top 5 resource-consuming functions.

Total account resources: The total resources for each account in a single region are 1,024,000 MB by default. To request more resources, submit a ticket.

Available resources: Available resources = Total account resources - Allocated resources.

Allocated resources: Allocated resources = Sum of the maximum resources allocated to all online functions.

Released functions: Counts the number of released functions.

Pie chart of resource usage statistics: Displays the proportions of allocated resources and available resources.

Bar chart showing the top 5 resource-consuming functions: Lists the top 5 functions with the highest resource usage.

Function resource allocation

The function resource allocation list displays the current resource allocation rules for all online functions, including function status, memory size, instance count range, maximum resources, and resource usage percentage.

Click the name of the target function to go to its Resource management page, where you can view or adjust the resources for the function. For more information, see Function resource statistics.
