Observing the release process
During the function release process, you can observe the release progress of the target version in real time on the Release management > Release details page of the current function. This topic describes the displayed information and available operations during the function release process.
Basic information
This section displays the change record (historical version and target version), release ratio, start and end time, description, and other information of the current release.
Traffic percentage of new and old versions
This section displays the traffic percentage between the target version and the historical version by using a progress bar in real time. When the traffic percentage of the target version reaches 100%, the release is complete, and the release record is in the Release complete state.
tip
In a canary release, after the release ratio is reached, the function remains in the Releasing state. You can gradually adjust the traffic percentage for canary release based on your business requirements to ensure stable service operation.
  • You can drag the progress bar at any time to adjust the traffic percentage between new and old versions.
  • You can click Full release to perform a full release of the canary version. After a successful release, the current release ticket is in the Release complete state.
  • You can click Roll back to cancel the current release ticket and route the online traffic back to the version before this release. After a successful rollback, the status of the current release ticket is Rolled back.

Adjust the release ratio
In a canary release, after the preset percentage is reached, you can drag the progress bar to adjust the traffic percentage between new and old versions.
Full release
In a canary release, after the preset percentage is reached, you can perform a full release. After a successful release, the current release ticket is in the Release complete state.

warning
After a function release fails, the details page displays error information and detailed logs to help you troubleshoot.
  • If it is a system error, you can retry manually.
  • If it is a user code or configuration issue, we recommend first rolling back the current ticket, modifying the code and configuration, and then releasing the function again.
