Native Node.js functions can be deployed using code packages. Before deploying your code package, package the completed code into a ZIP file. This topic describes how to package your code.

Limits

If you use Node.js dependencies, two methods are supported: online dependency installation and packaging the dependency libraries together with the code for upload. For detailed instructions, see Node.js dependency installation.

The size of ZIP files uploaded to the veFaaS console must not exceed 256 MiB. If the ZIP file size exceeds 256 MiB, submit a ticket for technical support.

Procedure

Run the following command to package all files in the root directory into a ZIP archive named vefaas-native-nodejs.zip.

zip -FSr vefaas-native-nodejs.zip .
