Explanation of credit refund deduction
"Credit refund deduction" refers to the amount returned due to refunds, adjustments, or account changes after a user consumes services using the credit provided by Volcano Engine. This returned amount is called credit refund. The refunded credit amount does not return directly to the user's cash account but is stored in a dedicated credit refund ledger and automatically prioritizes offsetting the original order bill charges from previous consumption.
For example, if a user has credit consumption in a certain month and a refund occurs in that same month, the refund amount will first offset the bill charges of the purchase made that month instead of becoming withdrawable cash balance.
- After unsubscription (bold indicates changed parts of the order)
For example, if there is credit consumption in a month but a refund happens in the next month or later, the refund amount will prioritize offsetting the original order charges from the month of purchase. Assuming your monthly consumption is 180 yuan
- After unsubscription (bold indicates changed parts of the order)
Special case: When a credit refund is used to offset the bill charges of the original order from historical consumption, if the original order has already been repaid in cash offset, the credit refund will be converted into a cash refund credited to your account balance.
Note:
- Credit refunds are primarily used to offset original consumption bills from previous months, which may cause discrepancies between the outstanding amount and the invoicable amount for the months involved in the repayment.
- It is recommended to always refer to the "Payable amount" field in the bill for invoicing and payment.
