Unified expiration date

Rules

The unified expiration date for renewal supports extending multiple monthly (non-calendar month) instances to expire on a fixed day each month. Once set, it applies to all monthly (non-calendar month) instances. When manually renewing, you can choose whether to align with the configured unified expiration date.

Notes

If the customer has never set a unified expiration date, the default unified expiration date on the setting page is the 1st of every month at 23:59:59.

The unified expiration date can only be set from the 1st to the 28th of each month or the last day of each month.

The interval between the final effective unified expiration date of the renewal and the current billing cycle expiration date cannot be less than one month. After renewing to the unified expiration date, the billing duration for renewal is calculated by day. The monthly price is converted to a daily rate. Please refer to the order confirmation page for the exact renewal amount.

Only monthly (non-calendar month) instances support the unified expiration date during manual renewal. Annual, daily, and calendar month instances do not support this feature.

Only manual renewals support selecting a unified expiration date; automatic renewals still follow the preset single renewal cycle to execute automatic renewal.

Unified expiration date calculation rule for renewals: Convert the renewal days into months based on a 30-day month.

Example

The expiration date of instance A is August 28, 2023, 23:59:59. The monthly subscription price for instance A is 60 yuan per month with no discount. The customer sets the unified expiration date to the 15th of each month; thus:

If the customer initiates a manual renewal on August 27, 2023, for one month without selecting the unified expiration date, the new expiration time is September 28, 2023, 23:59:59. The renewal amount = 60 yuan * 1 month = 60 yuan.

If the customer initiates a manual renewal on August 27, 2023, for one month and selects the unified expiration date (set to the 15th of each month), the new expiration time is October 15, 2023, 23:59:59. The renewal period is 48 days. The renewal amount = 60 yuan / 30 * 48 days = 96 yuan.

Steps

Go to the "Renewal Management" page and click the "Unified Renewal Expiration Date" button at the top right of the renewal list.

Set the unified expiration date

Click "OK" to complete the setting.

Select the instance to renew, then click "Renew" or "Batch Renew".

Select renewal by purchase duration and check "Unified Expiry Date".

Click "Pay" and complete the renewal.
