Split bills

Function introduction

Fees for usage of pay-as-you-go products are billed based on split items. For example, traffic fees in CDN are billed by domain, storage fees in TOS are billed by bucket, and bandwidth fees in a shared bandwidth package are billed by EIP. These domains, buckets, and EIPs are called split items of the corresponding product.

Split bills are applicable to such pay-as-you-go products and also other products. A split bill contains the specific usage, usage proportion, and fees of each split item. These details can be used as a reference for bill splitting within enterprises.

Note: If you have multiple accounts that have a financial custody relationship, please log in to each account to activate and view split bills respectively.

Operating procedure

1. Enter " Bill Management - Split bills" and open the splitting service;

Note: After activation, for each new bill, a split bill is generated accordingly. Data in split bills is subject to a delay no longer than two days. Split bills data will not be generated for bills generated before this service is activated.

2. After the service is activated, you can view split bills details on the Split bills page. Some key fields are as follows:

Accounting period: the accounting period to which this split bill is allocated.

Payer account: the user account that is due to pay the bill.

Owner account: the user account that actually uses the services billed.

Product: the name of a cloud product.

Instance ID: the ID and name of an instance.

Billable unit: the billable unit of an instance or a billable item, such as traffic, bandwidth, and storage.

Split item ID: the ID of a split item, such as a domain in CDN or a bucket in TOS.

Split item name: the name of a split item.

Usage: the usage amount of a split item. The monthly total is displayed when data is aggregated by accounting period.

Note: The method for collecting usage statistics of split items is consistent with the method for collecting statistics of total usage. For example, if CDN uses the monthly 95th percentile billing method to meter bandwidth usage, then this method is also used to collect bandwidth usage statistics of each split item (namely, domain) to serve as a reference for bill splitting.

Usage proportion: the proportion of the usage amount of a split item to total usage. This field is not displayed when data is aggregated by accounting period.

3. The relationship between cloud products that currently support generating split bills according to split items and the corresponding split items is as follows:

Information delivery network	domain	The charges for each item of the information delivery network CDN are split into each domain name.
shared bandwidth packet	eip	The cost of each billing item for a shared bandwidth packet is split into individual EIPs.
object storage	bucket	Object storage TOS charges are split into buckets.
veImageX	service	veImageX's billing charges are split into individual services.
ByteDance big model service (bean bag big model)	Model Access Point ID, Fine Tuning Task ID	The cost of each billing item of the word-byte bouncing large model service (bean bag large model) is split into each model access point id and fine-tuning task id.
Machine learning platform	Queue ID/Task ID	Each billing item fee for the machine learning platform is split into each queue ID/task ID.
Domestic SMS, International/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan SMS, Video SMS	message group	The charges for each billing item of the SMS service are split into each message group.
Real-time audio & video, WebRTC transport networks, copyrighted goods	AppId	Real-time audio & video, WebRTC transport network, and individual billing charges for copyrighted goods are split into individual AppIDs.
live video	domain name	The cost of each billing item for live video broadcast is split into each domain name.
Hosting Prometheus	Workspace	The cost of each billing item for hosting Prometheus is split into individual workspaces.
site-wide acceleration	domain	The cost of each billing item accelerated by the whole site is split into each domain name.
Video-On-Demand	space	Video-On-Demand charges are split into individual spaces.

Note: If you delete the resource or untie the label from the resource, the tag information in the newly added split bill is empty, please operate with caution;

4. Obtain split bill data: You can obtain split bills data through page export, bill automatic storage TOS, split bill OpenAPI;

1) Page Export: Click "Export Bill CSV" and select Export Separate Bill Data on demand;

2) Automatic bill storage: visible Configure bill data storagedescription document, when adding subscriptions, you can select the corresponding bill on demand;

3) Separate bill OpenAPI to obtain split bills data: see the bill OpenAPI description document ;
