Console user guide

Creating your dedicated ArkClaw with one click

ArkClaw is a cloud-based AI agent service provided by Volcano Engine for individual users. It allows you to deploy OpenClaw on the cloud with just one click, eliminating complex configurations and providing 24/7 online service for zero-threshold access to OpenClaw.

Token quota for free trial

After you purchase ArkClaw, the platform automatically allocates a token quota of 50M each month for free trial. This quota is associated with the Doubao-Seed-2.0-lite model for inference calls by default. The rules for quota usage and model switching are as follows:

If you have purchased the large model subscription package (Agent Plan): The quota from the package will be used first. You can also manually switch to the Doubao-Seed-2.0-lite model as needed to use the free trial quota.

If you do not have the subscription package: The free trial quota will be used by default. Once your trial token quota runs out, you may upgrade to Agent Plan or modify the model configuration to obtain more exclusive quota and higher configuration.

Quota limit

A single account can create up to 50 ArkClaw instances (excluding the ArkClaw instances created in the ModelArk Playground). Currently, the quota cannot be increased.

Purchase guide

Bundle purchase (with an LLM subscription package)

You need to purchase ArkClaw and a large model subscription package simultaneously.

tip

This applies to scenarios where the ModelArk Agent Plan large model subscription package is not activated or the subscription package has expired.

Purchase ArkClaw separately (with an existing large model subscription package)

You only need to purchase ArkClaw separately.

tip

This applies to scenarios where the ModelArk Agent Plan/Coding Plan large model subscription package has already been activated and ArkClaw is purchased afterwards.

Purchase ArkClaw separately (without a large model subscription package)

You only need to purchase ArkClaw separately.

tip

This applies to scenarios where ArkClaw is purchased first, and the model is configured later.

Procedure

Bundle purchase (with large model benefits)

A bundle purchase includes both ArkClaw and Agent Plan large model benefits. It applies to scenarios where you have not subscribed to Agent Plan large model or your Agent Plan large model has expired. Bundle purchasers are also eligible for additional discounts.

tip

If you have subscribed to an Agent Plan, bundle purchase is not available (this package will not be displayed here). You can purchase ArkClaw by referring to Purchase ArkClaw separately (with an existing large model subscription package).

After purchase, the system will automatically issue 50M free token quota per month. By default, the exclusive quota offered by the Agent Plan large model subscription package will be consumed first. To use the complimentary tokens, manually switch the inference model to Doubao-Seed-2.0-lite. For details, refer to "Trial token quota" in Adjusting/configuring inference models.

In the ArkClaw switching drop-down list, click the "Create ArkClaw" button.

Select the creation method as needed.

Custom creation (suitable for professional users)
Create based on agent template (recommended for beginners)

Click the "Create now" button to create an ArkClaw without preset soul and skills. This method applies when there is already a mature business solution (for example, an existing business plan), or custom soul and skills are required. After creation, you can manually configure a custom soul, select and associate the required skills, and perform other actions as needed.
Click the "Replicate" button on the target template card to quickly create an ArkClaw with preset soul and skills based on a preset template from Agent Gallery. This method is suitable for standardized business scenarios. It is recommended for beginners as it saves them from complicated initial setup. Learn more.

You can click the "Task replay" button to preview the execution effect of a template and determine whether it is applicable to your current business scenario.
You can also modify the skills and soul settings of ArkClaw created via a preset template. For details, refer to Learning and using skills and Configuring soul.

In the pop-up window, complete the purchase configuration based on the table below.

Configuration item	Description
Recruit teams (optional)	If your business scenario requires multi-role collaboration, click the "Recruit XXX team(s)" button to select an appropriate team type. If the preset teams do not meet your business needs, you can manually build a team after creating ArkClaw. For details, refer to Build an agent team.
Subscription duration	Select the subscription duration. Currently, only 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year are supported. You can select a subscription duration based on your needs.
Package specification	ArkClaw offers three package editions: Starter, Standard, and Premium, which meet the needs in different scenarios. Select the ArkClaw edition you want to purchase. The application scenarios for each edition are as follows. Learn more. Starter: For basic personal agent use, meeting initial exploration and entry-level needs. Standard: For personal workflow integration, meeting daily work and life needs. Premium: For scenarios such as One Person Company (OPC), with multi-concurrent step reasoning and tool interaction capabilities. This edition currently only supports Coding Plan Pro.
Subscribe to Agent Plan large model benefits	Check "Subscribe to Agent Plan LLM benefits" and select "Small", "Medium", or "Large" from the drop-down list. tip The applicable scenarios for different Agent Plan editions are as follows. Please select an edition as needed. Learn more. Small (Coding Plan Small): For medium-intensity development tasks, suitable for most developers. Medium (Coding Plan Medium): For complex project development, suitable for developers with high-intensity workloads. Large (Coding Plan Large): For ultra-large projects, complex multi-task collaboration and advanced intelligent business scenarios, suitable for professional teams and senior developers for in-depth usage.
Automatic renewal	Select whether to enable automatic renewal upon expiration. Enable automatic renewal: If automatic renewal is enabled, ArkClaw will be automatically renewed for 1 month by default. The platform will deduct the fee for the next month of the current package when ArkClaw expires. tip Selecting "Automatic renewal" means you authorize a third party to automatically deduct fees in accordance with the agreement. To disable automatic renewal, go to the billing center to cancel it. If automatic renewal is enabled for your ArkClaw instance, automatic renewal is also enabled for the capacity package by default. Disable automatic renewal (default): If automatic renewal is not enabled, you can manually renew ArkClaw after it expires.

After reading and agreeing to the relevant ArkClaw service rules, click the "Pay now" button to enter the payment page.

tip

After you join the User Experience Improvement Program, Volcano Engine will, based on the necessary diagnostic data uploaded by ArkClaw, help you quickly diagnose issues and optimize service quality. You can also quit the User Experience Improvement Program at any time. Learn more.

On the payment page, confirm the order and amount information, select a payment method, and click "Pay now" to complete the payment.

Once ArkClaw is created, you can chat with it directly.

Purchase ArkClaw separately (with an existing large model subscription package)

Purchasing ArkClaw separately (with an existing large model subscription package) applies when you have already subscribed to a Coding Plan/Agent Plan large model subscription package.

tip

Purchasing ArkClaw separately (without a large model subscription package) is applicable for scenarios where ArkClaw is purchased first and the large model is configured later.

After the purchase is completed, the system will automatically grant 50M Free Token quota every month. By default, this quota is associated with the Doubao-Seed-2.0-lite model for inference calls. After the complimentary quota is exhausted, to guarantee business continuity, you can upgrade to Agent Plan or modify the model configuration to obtain a higher dedicated quota or higher configuration.
