You can build dedicated agents for ArkClaw, allowing multiple intelligent roles to perform their respective duties and independently handle assigned business tasks. In addition, the primary agent can automatically identify and assign tasks to matching sub-agents for multi-role collaboration.
Main advantages:
- Flexible identity switching
- You can switch to the appropriate agent identity with one click based on task requirements. For example, you can switch from "Recruitment specialist" to "Technical review expert", which enables a smooth transition across domains.
- All agents share the same underlying ArkClaw instance resources. You do not need to create or maintain separate ArkClaw instances for different businesses, nor do you need to modify configurations repeatedly. This significantly reduces resource consumption and routine O&M costs.
- Intelligent task distribution
- The primary agent (agent ID: main) can, based on business workflows and actual scenarios, automatically break down and assign tasks to each sub-agent via conversational commands. This enables multi-role collaboration and parallel task processing, greatly increasing overall task efficiency.
ArkClaw allows you to build agents using preset templates or custom settings.
Use templates to build agents (recommended)
The Agent Gallery provides a variety of preset templates. Each template is pre-configured with skill plugins, souls, and permission rules. You can quickly build an agent with such a template. - Switch to the target ArkClaw page.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click "Agent Center".
- On the "Agent Gallery" tab, select a template that suits your business scenario, and then click "Add and initiate task". You are automatically redirected to the chat page where the current agent is selected, and the task is initiated. At the same time, the agent is automatically added to "My agents". You can then specify this agent whenever you initiate a task.
You can add multiple agents by using this method.
Use custom settings to build agents
If the preset agents in Agent Gallery do not meet your business goals, job responsibilities, or workflow requirements, you can create a custom agent. The following two creation methods are supported:
- Enter a natural language description of your business requirements, and the system automatically generates an initial agent configuration. You can also manually modify it and continue to make fine-grained adjustments. This method is suitable for scenarios where you are not yet familiar with the agent configuration structure and want to quickly generate an initial setup from a requirements description, or where you are unfamiliar with individual configuration items and need the system to assist with the basic configuration.
- Upload a local agent configuration package to complete deployment quickly. This method is suitable for scenarios where you already have a ready-made agent package and need to migrate it to the current account or workspace, or where you want to reuse the same agent configuration across multiple environments such as development, testing, and production.
Method 1: Create with AI (recommended)
- Switch to the target ArkClaw page.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click "Agent Center".
- In the upper-right corner of the page, click "Add custom agent > Create with AI", and then choose to add a custom agent through the user interface or the chat box as needed.
Create manually via user interface
Quickly generate via prompt or natural language (recommended)
Visual manual creation supports fine-grained customization of all parameters, enabling precise debugging and standardized management. Suitable for complex and highly customized business scenarios.
