[Subscription package] ArkClaw large model subscription package upgrade notice

To deliver a higher quality and more intelligent development service experience for Volcano Engine users, Volcano Engine will optimize and adjust the rules for bundle purchases and subscription packages of ArkClaw. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Change overview

As of May 11, 2026, any new ArkClaw bundle purchase will include the Agent Plan by default. The Coding Plan will no longer be available for new ArkClaw bundle purchases. Existing subscriptions remain unaffected. The system will automatically match your entitled benefits and features based on your current subscription status.

Description

The Agent Plan is a brand-new upgraded subscription package built on the basis of the Coding Plan. It is integrated with a more comprehensive suite of model services and the exclusive Harness toolset. Learn more.

Applicable rules by subscription status

Subscription status	Applicable rule
Subscribed to both the Agent Plan and Coding Plan	The Agent Plan is prioritized by default. You can switch packages and models on the Model configuration page.
Subscribed only to the Agent Plan	All operations including new purchases, renewals, chat interactions, management, and model configuration run under the Agent Plan with no additional configuration required.
Subscribed only to the Coding Plan	Existing Coding Plan configurations remain fully unchanged, and your service will not be interrupted. To access enhanced model capabilities and extended features, you can upgrade to the Agent Plan upon renewal.
Not subscribed to any package (new user)	Agent Plan is recommended by default for bundle purchases. You can also purchase ArkClaw standalone and subscribe to a package on demand at a later time.

Coding Plan upgrade description

If you currently have only the Coding Plan subscription, you can upgrade to the Agent Plan upon renewal. Take note of the following items before you perform an upgrade:

The upgrade will not impact your existing data and configurations.

When you upgrade to the Agent Plan, you are charged renewal fees at the standard rate of the ArkClaw + Agent Plan bundle. Learn more.

Scope of impact

Affected user group	Impact
Existing Agent Plan users	No impact. All operations continue to run under the Agent Plan.
Existing Coding Plan users	No impact. The current configuration remains unchanged. You can upgrade to the Agent Plan as needed.
Users subscribed to both the Agent Plan and Coding Plan	No impact. The Agent Plan is used by default, with manual switching available.
New users	All new bundle purchases will include the Agent Plan by default. The Coding Plan will no longer be available for new bundle purchases.
