Convenience features

Managing online search

ArkClaw supports real-time online search. This allows ArkClaw to retrieve publicly available internet information during responses to obtain the latest external and real-time information. Enabling this feature may increase response latency, answer variability, and the amount of irrelevant information. We recommend using this feature flexibly based on your specific business scenarios.

Limits

Your account is automatically granted a specific number of free online search calls each month:

Personal real-name authenticated accounts: 500 calls/month.

Enterprise real-name authenticated accounts: 5000 calls/month.

The free quota is calculated on a calendar-month basis. At the beginning of each month, the quota automatically resets, and unused calls do not roll over to the next month.

When the monthly free online search quota is used up, you can subscribe to an online search package for more call quota. For pricing and billing rules of packages, see Subscription (prepaid).

Enable or disable online search

After an ArkClaw instance is created, online search is enabled by default. You can disable this feature at any time and re-enable it based on your needs.

After the online search feature is enabled, ArkClaw can retrieve publicly available internet information in real time, supplementing the built-in model knowledge. For scenarios covering time-sensitive questions and fact-checking, this capability significantly broadens information coverage and improves the timeliness, completeness, and credibility of responses.

Disable online search

After the online search feature is disabled, ArkClaw generates answers only from the built-in model knowledge base and internal data sources. In this mode, responses are faster, outputs are more stable, and content is easier to control, making it suitable for internal scenarios that require efficient, standardized replies.

Switch to the target ArkClaw page.

On the ArkClaw conversation page, select "+ > Online search" to enable or disable the online search feature as needed.

View usage and configure quota

You can view the quota usage of your free ArkClaw online search for the current month. When the free quota is used up, you can continue using the online search feature via a prepaid package.

You can view the details of your free ArkClaw online search quota for the current month in real time, allowing you to quickly track quota consumption, the remaining balance, and call usage.

On the ArkClaw conversation page, select "+ > Online search".

View your monthly free quota: Select "+ > Online search", and hover the mouse over the "Online search" button to view the current usage of ArkClaw monthly free online search quota (used quota/total quota).

Select "+ > Online search".

Click "Get more quota".

On the subscription page that pops up, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase and obtain the corresponding online search call quota. Learn more.
