Managing ArkClaw

Upgrading ArkClaw specification

If the current ArkClaw specification cannot meet your needs during use (for example, the cloud browser runs slowly), upgrade your ArkClaw specification for higher compute power, larger storage, and more features.

Usage notes

Currently, only the specifications of unexpired ArkClaw of the Starter and Standard editions can be upgraded. ArkClaw specification downgrade is not supported.

You can follow the instructions below to upgrade the specification for entitled ArkClaw obtained from ModelArk Playground (default name: ArkClaw):

Perform direct upgrade for entitled ArkClaw included with the Agent Plan Medium/Large/Max subscription if the subscription is valid or has expired for less than 24 hours. Otherwise, upgrade the specification via the activation feature.

Upgrade the specification of entitled ArkClaw included with the Coding Plan Lite subscription via the activation feature.

Perform direct upgrade for entitled ArkClaw included with the Coding Plan Pro subscription if the subscription is valid or expired within 24 hours. Otherwise, upgrade the specification via the activation feature.

To apply the new specification, the system will restart your ArkClaw instance. During this period, ArkClaw services will be temporarily interrupted. We recommend upgrading your ArkClaw during off-peak hours to avoid impacting running tasks.

Billing rules

ArkClaw

When upgrading the specification of your ArkClaw purchased in the ArkClaw console, you only need to pay the price difference between the new and old configurations for the remaining validity period. The specific calculation formula is as follows:

Payable amount for the upgrade order = Payable amount for new specification - Remaining value of the previous specification

The calculation method for "Remaining value of the previous configuration" is as follows:

Remaining value of the previous specification = Value of original order × (Remaining duration of original order/Subscription duration of original order)

The duration unit is accurate to seconds to ensure accurate calculation of the remaining value of the previous specification.

Entitled ArkClaw

When upgrading the specification of entitled ArkClaw included with your Agent Plan/Coding Plan Pro subscription in ModelArk Playground, you are required to pay the full fee for the target specification.

After the specification upgrade, this entitled ArkClaw will be converted to an official ArkClaw, and you will no longer have free access during the validity period of your Coding Plan.

Procedure

Switch to the target ArkClaw page and click the Claw details icon in the upper-right corner.

Select the "Status and usage" tab and click the "Upgrade specification" button.

Select the target specification for upgrade, check the box to acknowledge the risks and agree to the relevant agreements, and click the "Pay now" button.

On the payment page, confirm the order and amount information, select a payment method, and click "Pay now" to complete the payment.

Upon successful payment, the ArkClaw status changes to Upgrading.

Once the upgrade is completed, you can click the "Enter chat" button to continue interacting with ArkClaw.
