If the standard quota of your current instance cannot meet your business needs, you can request a quota expansion. Charges apply to the expanded portion.

Billing rules

Only Standard Edition instances support quota expansion.

After a quota is expanded, it cannot be reduced.

Charges apply only to the expanded quota. The standard quota is free of charge. For information about standard quotas, see Limits.

The billing rules are as follows:

The namespace quota can be expanded only in increments of 10.

The maximum namespace quota is 300. For example, the default namespace quota of a Standard Edition instance is 50. Therefore, the quota can be expanded by up to 250. Charges apply to this additional quota of 250.

Longer subscription periods (e.g., annual) come with greater discounts. For specific discount rates, refer to the purchase page in the console.

In the Quota usage section of the instance overview page, click Quota increase to log in to the quota change page and increase the quota.
