To meet the security requirements of Container Registry (CR), some proxy cache registries do not support public network access and must be connected through dedicated lines. This topic describes how to pull images from a proxy cache registry through a dedicated line in CR.
Considerations
- Currently, this feature is supported only in the China (Beijing) region.
- Only the Standard Edition proxy cache registry of the Docker Registry type supports this feature.
- After a proxy cache registry is connected to a dedicated line, a dedicated line access configuration fee is charged on an hourly basis. For billing details, see Billing overview.
Prerequisites
- You have connected the VPC and subnet through the dedicated line. After the connection is established, the instance can pull images from the remote registry via a dedicated line as expected.
- The VPC and subnet connected to the dedicated line are not connected to any other instance. Each instance can connect to only one VPC and subnet that is connected to a dedicated line.
Operating Steps
- Log in to the Container Registry console.
- Select the target region in the top navigation bar.

Currently, this feature is supported only in the China (Beijing) region.
- In the left navigation pane, click Instance list > Proxy cache.
- In the Proxy cache area, click the name of the target proxy cache registry.
- In the left navigation pane of the proxy cache registry page, click "Access control".
- On the Access control > Access through private networks page, click Configure private line.
- On the configuration page, select the VPC and subnet that have been connected.
Results
After the configuration is complete, you can pull images from the proxy cache registry over the dedicated line.
