System-preset Policies

This document primarily introduces the steps for quickly authorizing IAM users to use the Basic Edition instance of the artifact repository through system-preset policies.

Prerequisites

A Volcano Engine root user has been registered. For detailed operations, please refer to How to register an account.

The account has passed the enterprise real-name authentication. For details, see Identity authentication.

Procedure

Log in to Access Control console.

Select Identity Management > Users in the left menu bar, and then click Create User.

For details on creating a user, please refer to User Management.

Click on the newly created user in the user list to access the user details.

On the Permissions tab, authorization can be performed at either the global or project level.

Select the Global Permissions tab, click Add Permission, use the keyword Artifacts to search for permissions, and then check the permissions to be added for the user. Click Confirm to add the permissions for the user.

Select the Project Permissions tab, click Add Permission, use the keyword Artifacts to search for permissions, and then check the permissions to be added for the user. From the Select Project drop-down menu, choose the project that requires authorization.

Click Confirm to complete the user permission configuration.
