Uploading packages (console)
Uploading packages is one of the basic features of the artifact repository. You can upload completed packages to the artifact repository for others to download easily. This section explains how to use the Web console to upload local Generic packages to the artifact repository.​
Prerequisites​
  • Have registered a Volcano Engine root user and activated the artifact repository Service.​
  • A repository instance has been created. For details, refer to Creating basic edition instances.​
  • A Generic-format artifact repository has been created. For details, please refer to Creating generic repositories.​
  • There are local packages that are ready to be uploaded.​
Procedure​
  1. Log in to the Artifact repository console.​
  1. In the left navigation bar, select Instances. In the Instances area on the right page, click to enter the artifact repository instance.​
  1. At the top of the left navigation bar, select the Generic package format from the drop-down menu, and in the menu bar, choose Package Management, and then select the repository name where you need to upload packages from the repository list. On the right repository details page, click Upload Package.​
  1. In the popped-up Upload File dialog box, click Select File and select the files stored locally.​
  1. Configure the parameters for file upload.​

    Layout by Repository​
    Click the toggle switch to configure whether to use the repository's layout to define the package path.​
    • When the toggle switch is in the​alt​state, it indicates that the repository's layout is used.​
    • When the toggle switch is in the​alt​state, it indicates that the repository's layout is not used. In this case, you can customize the package path.​
    orgPath​
    Configure the name of the package folder.​
    module​
    Configure the name of the package.​
    baseRev​
    Configure the version of the package.​
    ext​
    Configure the file suffix of the package.​

  1. Click Confirm.​
View results​
Log in to the artifact repository. Under the corresponding repository, you can view the list of artifacts that have been uploaded correctly.​
