If the standard quota of your current instance cannot meet your business needs, you can request a quota expansion. Charges apply to the expanded portion.

Billing rules

Only Standard Edition instances support quota expansion.

After a quota is expanded, it cannot be reduced.

Charges apply only to the expanded quota. The standard quota is free of charge. For information about standard quotas, see Limits.

The billing rules are as follows:

The VPC access quota can be increased only in increments of one VPC.

The maximum VPC access quota is 20 VPCs. For example, the default VPC access quota for a Standard Edition instance is 5 VPCs, so up to 15 VPCs can be added to the quota. Charges apply to the 15 VPCs added to the quota.

Longer subscription periods (e.g., annual) come with greater discounts. For specific discount rates, refer to the purchase page in the console.

In the Quota usage section of the instance overview page, click Quota increase to log in to the quota change page and increase the quota.
