Data Subscription

Users can subscribe to the dashboard to obtain regular data feeds, making it easy to track business trends. This article provides a detailed introduction to subscription creation, management, and configuration steps for various push methods.

Feature Overview

Users can subscribe to the dashboard to regularly check the dashboard information pushed by the system and closely follow up on the latest data. At the same time, the subscription management function provided by the product can assist users in managing their own subscription records, and support the modification of subscriptions under the dashboard with administrative permissions.

Quick Start

New subscription

  1. View the page in the dashboard, click the option in the upper right corner of the page, and click "Subscribe" to create a new push.
    Image
  2. Select the scope of the subscription, subscription title, subscription description, subscription content, push time, push method, and other settings.
    Subscription title advanced configuration: When you check "Date" in the subscription title and a custom calendar label has been configured in your corporate calendar, the Settings button will appear after the Date option. Click on the calculation base of the adjustable period T:
    • Task Execution Date: Default option, this setting is maintained after an existing subscription is upgraded.
    • Customize calendar labels: You can select configured labels such as "trading day" and "sales day", and use the date corresponding to the most recent day of the label as T.

    tip

    The dates in the heading are calculated as T − N. For example, selecting "Task Execution Date" and configuring T − 1 displays the day before the task execution date; selecting "Sales Day" and configuring T − 1 displays the day before the date corresponding to the most recent sale date, rather than the previous sale date.

Subscribe to notifications

Subscription time

Supports scheduled push, or triggered when all data completes synchronization.
Image

Scheduled push

  • Support scheduled push. When setting scheduled push, the system will take a screenshot of the dashboard and push it at the specified time.
  • Support day-level, weekly-level, and monthly-level push
  • Support custom time push by trading day, working day, daily

warning

Since the chart data on the dashboard needs to be queried when subscribing, the chart query time corresponding to the screenshot during push is before the subscription push.

Triggered when the data completes synchronization

Extracting datasets supports this function. (In the privatized version, the direct connection dataset can be triggered synchronously when the data is completed by configuring the dataset that stores the "Upstream Data Source Ready Configuration Information", see Dataset Management Overview.)

  • Extracting a dataset directly sets the push to be triggered when the data is synchronized. There are multiple charts on a dashboard, corresponding to multiple datasets. When setting this, the synchronization status of the corresponding dataset corresponding to the date will be monitored before push. This way, the system will not push unupdated data.
  • When the data synchronization time is later than the push setting time, the system will wait for the data synchronization to be completed before pushing.
  • If the dataset business date is the previous day's data (yesterday's business data, which completes synchronization at 9:00 a.m. the next day), the subscription will be pushed at 10:30 a.m.; if the data is synchronized at 12:00 p.m., the subscription will be pushed at 12:00 p.m.

Push language

Image

  • Support for configuring language types for pushing subscription messages.
  • Automatic selection, and the system will recognize the current language setting and push it according to the language type when configuring the subscription.
  • Users can also directly choose Chinese or English to specify the push language explicitly.

Push method & recipient

Image
Dashboard subscriptions support push to: Lark, Lark Groups, WeCom(WeChat Work), WeCom Groups, Mail, Mail Groups, DingTalk, DingTalk Department Groups, DingTalk Common Groups, General IM, Webhooks, etc.

warning

  • At present, in the privatization environment, the messaging channels of enterprise mailboxes and WeCom are set according to the project granularity. The specific steps are as follows:
    • Pre-configuration (required): First, you need to complete the access of the enterprise mailbox or WeCom application in "System Configuration" - "Office Platform", and configure the multi-shipping channel for good news delivery on this page. Specific operation can be referred to Office Platform Integration.
    • Associate by project (optional): After completing the pre-configuration, you can go to "System Management" - "System Settings" - "Push Notification Channel" to associate the shipping channel that has been configured on the office platform with a specific project. This step is optional. If no project-level association is made, the default shipping channel will be used. Specific operation can be referred to Push notification channel.
  • When creating a dashboard subscription, the push channel selection logic is as follows:
    • When message (group) is selected in push mode, the system will preferentially use the mailbox specified for the current item in "push notification channel". If the project is not specifically associated with a mailbox, use the default mailbox set in "Office Platform" - "Enterprise Mailbox".
    • When WeCom (group) is selected in **** push method , the system will give priority to the WeCom application designated for the current project in the "push notification channel". If the project is not specifically associated with a WeCom app, the default app set in Office Platform - WeCom is used.

Users with dashboard viewing permissions can create subscriptions, but the optional push methods are different. Only administrators (with current dashboard management permissions) can perform group push:

When the push method is selected as "Lark" (or other IM), it will be pushed to each user in the recipient through Lark (or other IM)

  • At the subscription time, the user will receive the subscription message pushed by the "Data Platform Push Service" robot. If you confirm that the subscription has been pushed and the message has not been received, please confirm whether the message of the robot is blocked first.
  • Support batch upload users. After downloading the template, enter user information in the template and select batch upload.

IM group
The product supports pushing subscription messages to groups. Here is an example of Lark groups:

warning

There are security risks in "subscription" push through groups, please use it with caution:

  • There is no dashboard authentication for members of the group when sending "subscription" messages;
  • Members of the group may change, the range of people who receive "subscription" messages changes, and new members can view "subscription" messages in chat history.
  1. You need to add an application robot to the Lark group, here is the "Data Platform Push Service", otherwise the Lark group will not be able to receive subscription pushes;
  2. Click to find group ID, find the group ID of the group chat you need to push to and copy it (you can only search for the group chat you are in);
  3. Enter the group ID and enter the permission basis person (the permission basis person will decide the data range of the subscription push);
  4. You can click "Add" to set up push to multiple groups at the same time.

Image
Mail
The product supports pushing subscription emails to personal mailboxes by email.

  • Same as pushing to individuals, uploading users in batch is supported. After downloading the template, enter user information in the template and select bulk upload.
    Image

Mail group
The product supports push subscription emails through email groups.

  • You need to set the permission basis person, and the permission basis person will determine the scope of subscription and push data. For details, please refer to the content of "permission basis person" below.
    Image

Webhook
When users need to subscribe to the dashboard push notification in the WeCom group, DingTalk ordinary group, Lark external group or system API, they can choose the Webhook push method to achieve the effect of receiving messages in the enterprise's IM group. See the specific operation Configure Subscription Push Method—Webhook.

Authority basis

When you select Group or Mail Group Push, specify Permission By Person.

  • Permission-based person: that is, whose authority the push content is based on. For example, when there is a chart corresponding to the dataset in the dashboard that sets the exercise limit, selecting different permissions depending on the person may generate and push different data. After setting the permission basis, the user being relied upon will receive a prompt.
    Image

Exception handling

  • If there is an abnormality in the chart in the dashboard, it will not be pushed: if there is no data in the chart in the dashboard, the query fails, or the query expires, the screenshot message of the dashboard will not be sent to the recipient;
  • Automatically re-push after failure: 1 hour after the push fails, the system automatically tries to send it again;
  • If the chart data in the dashboard is empty, it will not be pushed.

Subscribe to Modification Notifications

If a subscription is modified, it can be pushed to the recipient or to the creator. Subscription modification notifications include information such as subscription creation/modification/deletion.

Subscription management
