A percentage indicates what percent one value is of another value. It is also known as a percentage. DataWind provides a percentage analysis component that supports quickly calculating the proportion of specified data of the total.
Example

Step 1: For calculation basis, select all data; for calculation metric, select order_count.

Step 2: Click Apply to generate a derived percentage field.

Step 3: Switch to a dual-axis chart. The derived percentage field is displayed on the secondary axis.

3.1 Calculation basis #

You can set the calculation basis to all data or currently displayed data.

• All data: Calculates the proportion based on all data, that is, percentage = cell value / sum of all data in the column. When calculating the total, it is not limited by top N or limit N.
• Currently displayed data: Calculates the proportion based on the currently visible data, that is, percentage = cell value / sum of the data currently displayed in the column.

3.2 Calculation metrics #

• Select the metrics for percentage calculation. Multiple selections are supported.
