The Intelligent Data Insight Analysis Assistant (hereinafter referred to as the DataWind analysis assistant, analysis assistant, or AI assistant) is a self-service intelligent analysis assistant. This document introduces how to use the DataWind analysis assistant during dataset preparation, including intelligent optimization of dimensions/metrics, intelligent generation of field descriptions, intelligent generation of field names, and intelligent field expression generation.

During data source integration and data preprocessing, the dataset module plays an important role. Quickly completing the data processing process is the foundation of self-service analysis.
AI provides the following features during dataset preparation:

• Intelligent optimization of dimensions/metrics: The AI assistant helps users optimize the selection of dataset field dimensions or metrics.
• Intelligent generation of field names/descriptions: One-click generation of multilingual display names and descriptions for fields (requires multilingual configuration).
• Intelligent field expression generation: By describing requirements in natural language, AI automatically generates field calculation expressions.

• The Intelligent Data Insight Analysis Assistant is a value-added module that supports both SaaS and on-premises deployment versions. To purchase or request a trial, please contact the sales team for consultation.
• Only when the account has dataset management permissions can the analysis assistant feature be enabled. If you only have editing permissions, please apply for management permissions or ask the relevant administrator to enable it.

1. Go to any dataset details page and click "Enable DataWind analysis assistant" to use the AI assistant features. Next to datasets with the AI assistant enabled, a label "Analysis assistant enabled" will be displayed.

2. Click "Edit" in the upper right corner to enter the dataset preparation page.
   
3. Click "Field settings" to enter the field settings page, where you can see the "AI assistant" feature.

• Dataset creation page:
  If users encounter errors with dimensions or metrics when saving a dataset, AI diagnosis can quickly identify how to modify them.
  
  
• Dataset preview page:
  When modifying fields, if users find an expression error and are unsure how to fix it, they can click the small button on the right to view explanations and solutions.
  
  

Intelligent filling of field descriptions #

In field configuration, the AI assistant can help users fill in the description for each dataset field, saving users time.

• Click "AI Assistant" and then "Intelligent Fill Description"; the AI assistant will automatically fill in the "Description" field for users.
  
  The filling result is as follows:
  
• Users can also click the button next to the "Description" column to fill in descriptions in bulk, or click the button next to the input box to fill in one row at a time.
  

Intelligent filtering #

Users can click "Show only AI-filled description fields" to locate which fields were modified by the AI assistant.

Intelligent filling of field names #

The AI assistant can help users fill in the display name for each dataset field, ensuring the displayed name matches the user's language environment.

Intelligent generation of field expressions #

To add a field to a dataset, users can describe their requirements to the AI assistant in natural language, and the AI assistant will generate the corresponding field expression.

Intelligent diagnosis of synchronization task failure reasons #

If a synchronization task fails, users can use "Intelligent Diagnosis" to locate the problem.

Synchronization diagnosis will provide users with failure reasons and recommended actions.

• Supports extracted datasets and supports datasets uploaded as Excel/CSV files.
