Starting from ‌00:00:00 on August 3, 2026, the billing-by-written-metric-volume option is gradually available across all regions to more accurately reflect your actual resource consumption and provide a more cost-effective billing solution.

Billing rules: The billing-by-written-metric-volume option is based on the size of uncompressed metric samples ingested into Prometheus instances. It is suitable for scenarios where metrics carry only a small number of labels. For details on billing by written metric volume, see Pay-as-you-go.

Changing the billing method: You can choose the billing method that fits your needs, but the billing method can be changed only once for a workspace. For details, see Changing the workspace billing method.
