Use dashboard

Add charts to dashboard

After creating a dashboard, you can add statistical charts from the same project to dashboard. Then you can view dynamic analysis results in real time.

You can add charts to the dashboard in two ways:

Save the chart to the dashboard.

Add the chart in the dashboard.

Notice

Each dashboard supports up to 50 statistical charts.

After adding charts to the dashboard, if this chart section displays no query results, you need to check: whether the log data is successfully accessed; whether the query and analysis statements are correctly configured.

After adding charts to the dashboard, you can also edit or copy charts as needed. For common dashboard operations, see Common dashboard actions.

Save the chart to dashboard

Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.

In the left navigation bar, select Common functions > Query and analysis.

On the page Query and analysis and in the list of left pane, select the specified project and topic.

On the query and analysis page for the specified log topic, enter the query statement and specify the time range.

Set up the statistics chart.

TLS supports a variety of chart formats, such as tables. For detailed instructions and setup steps, see Overview of query and analysis charts.

On the right side of the page, click Add to dashboard.

Set dashboard information.

Configuration	Description
Chart name	The name of the chart.
Target dashboard	How to add a dashboard. Existing dashboard: add the current chart to an existing dashboard. New dashboard: create a new dashboard and add the current chart to it.
Dashboard	Dashboard name.
Description	When you set the target dashboard to New dashboard, you can add a description for the new dashboard.

Click OK.

The page will automatically redirect to the dashboard. Then you can view all the added statistical charts. Each statistical chart area shows the chart that corresponds to the specified analysis statement and time range.

Add charts in the dashboard

Notice

You can add metric topic charts to dashboard. However, Metric topic is now in closed beta. If you have business needs, contact your account manager for allowlist access.

Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.

On the left navigation bar, select Common functions > Dashboard.

In the dashboard list, click the dashboard under the target project.

In the upper right corner of the dashboard page, click Add chart.

Manually create a new chart:

Click Create chart.

In query and analysis, select the topic type and specify the topic. enter the query and analysis statement, and then set the statistical chart and chart name.

Topic types include log topic and metric topic. If you select metric topic, PromQL statements are also supported. For details, see PromQL.

TLS supports multiple types of statistical charts such as tables. For detailed instructions and setup steps, see Overview of query and analysis charts.

Save the newly created chart.

Click Save dashboard.

Click Apply to dashboard; preview the newly added chart on the dashboard screen; click Save again after you confirm the chart.

Import existing charts from the current project:

Click Import chart.

In the Import chart dialog box, select the dashboard and chart to import.

Click Import.

(Optional) Adjust the chart size and position.

You can drag the chart to change its position or resize it by dragging the lower right corner.
