TLS supports password-free dashboard sharing with other users. Recipients are not required to configure login authorization, they can access the dashboard via a password-free link. This topic introduces how to create a password-free link and access the dashboard through this link.

Prerequisites

A dashboard has been created.

1 Create password-free link

Log in to TLS console.

Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.

In the left navigation bar, select Common functions > Dashboard.

In the dashboard list, click the target dashboard.

In the target dashboard, click the sharing icon.

On the Common sharing link panel, click Create new link.

Configure the following parameters, and then click OK.

Parameters	Description
Name	Set a name for the password-free link.
Cut-off time	Set the valid time range for the password-free link. long-term effective: The password-free link remains valid indefinitely. Specify a deadline: After the deadline, the password-free link will expire and users will no longer be able to access the corresponding dashboard through this link.
Access restrictions	Specify which users can access this password-free link. No restrictions: Any user who obtains the link can access the link. Specify a Volcengine account: Enter the specific Volcengine account ID you want to authorize and it will be the only user who can access this link.
Time range	Set the query time range for dashboards and statistical charts. Default time range for each chart: The chart's default query time range is employed here. Custom time: You can customize the chart's query time range.
Filters and variables	When using dashboard filters and variables, shared dashboards or charts will retain the filter and variable information. Besides, you can make dynamic adjustments to charts based on selected filters and variables.

2 Access the dashboard via password-free link

After sharing the password-free link you created with other users, other users can directly access and view the corresponding dashboard via the link.

IAM user actions permissions

To ensure data security and refined management, you can authorize IAM users and define the resource scope for their operation to password-free links, such as sharing links. The minimum permission policy for password-free links is described as follows:

Create password-free link

After authorization, IAM users can only create password-free links in the specified dashboard.

Modify password-free link

After authorization, IAM users can only modify the specified password-free link.

Delete password-free link

After authorization, IAM users can only delete the specified password-free link.

View the list of password-free links

After authorization, IAM users can only view the list of password-free links in the specified dashboard.

Modify the availability status of password-free links

After authorization, IAM users can only modify the availability status of the specified password-free link.

Delete password-free link

You can locate the target link in the Common sharing link panel, and click Delete to remove the password-free link.

After you delete the link, you will not be able to access the corresponding dashboard through this link.

Modify password-free link

You can locate the target link in the Common sharing link panel, and click Edit to modify the configuration of the password-free link.
