Subscribe to dashboard messages
You can subscribe dashboard in TLS console. TLS will regularly send dashboards as images to designated WeCom, DingTalk, or Feishu groups. This topic describes how to subscribe to dashboards.
Background information
TLS provides dashboard subscription. After you subscribe to a dashboard, TLS will render it as an image according to the specified message delivery cycle and send it through the designated channel. Message delivery channels include Feishu groups, WeCom groups, and DingTalk groups. Dashboard notifications are sent using custom robots.
The dashboard subscription feature automatically delivers data dashboards to designated group chats on a scheduled basis. It is ideal for operational broadcasting scenarios, such as daily operation reports, performance rankings (top/bottom), and regular data showcases.
Limits
  • You can create up to 100 subscription tasks in each project.
  • Dashboard image snapshots in notifications from WeCom groups and DingTalk groups can be saved for up to 1 day only. If you have needs, save them to your local device promptly. The images will no longer be accessible after retention time exceeds one day.
  • Map of China and world map are not supported for subscriptions. If a subscribed dashboard includes a Map of China or world map, these charts will show blank in the push notification.
  • If a dashboard subscription notification contains more than 15 charts at the same time, some charts in the message will display No results found for the current query. We recommend that you schedule dashboard subscription tasks for each Volcanoengine account to send notifications in separate time slots. Besides, the charts per dashboard should not exceed 15.
Prerequisites
  • Before using the dashboard subscription feature for the first time, you must authorize cloud resource access. This means you need to grant TLS permission to query logs and view dashboards. After you authorize TLS and subscribe a dashboard, TLS will regularly use the ServiceRoleForTLS role to access relevant data for the specified dashboard. If you create a dashboard subscription for the first time, TLS will guide you to complete authorization in the console. We recommend that you authorize with Volcanoengine account. For more details, see cross-service access authorization.
