Manage alarm policy
After creating an alarm policy, you can perform common management operations on existing alarm policies in TLS console, such as searching for a specific alarm policy, modifying its status, or deleting the alarm policy.
Search for alarm policy
The TLS console allows you to filter alarm policies by log topic name and alarm policy name, helping you quickly find the specified policy.
Follow these steps.
  1. Log in to TLS console.
  1. Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.
  1. In the left navigation bar, select Common features > Log alarm > Alarm policy .
  1. On alarm policy page, and then filter alarm policies.
  • Filter by monitoring object, alarm policy name, or ID.
  • After entering keywords in the filter box, the page automatically displays relevant alarm policies and supports fuzzy search. In addition, the application status column in the policy list supports filtering by status.
Close or recover alarm policy
After creating an alarm policy, the policy is in Running status by default. TLS will continue to running monitoring tasks and send alarm notifications according to the alarm policy. You can also enable or disable an alarm policy at any time based on your business needs.
  1. Log in to TLS console.
  1. Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.
  1. In the left navigation bar, select Common features > Log alarm > Alarm policy.
  1. On the alarm policy page, locate the specified alarm policy, and click Disable or Enable in the Actions column.
Temporarily disable alarm policy
If you do not need alarm notifications for a certain period, you can temporarily disable the alarm policy. While the alarm policy is temporarily disabled, TLS pauses monitoring tasks until the alarm policy is automatically enabled. While the alarm policy is temporarily disabled, you can also manually enable the alarm policy at any time.
  1. Log in to TLS console.
  1. Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.
  1. In the left navigation bar, select Common features > Log alarm > Alarm policy.
  1. On the alarm policy page, find the specified alarm policy, and in its corresponding Actions column, select ... > Temporarily disable.
  1. Set the shutdown duration in the pop-up dialog box.
  1. Click Temporarily disable.
Edit alarm policy
After you create an alarm policy, you can modify it at any time based on business needs. For example, change monitoring tasks, alarm rules, or notification details.
Tip
  • If the notification group changes, such as notification method, channel, or associated members, the corresponding alarm policy does not need to be modified. TLS will send notifications according to the latest notification group settings.
  • After modifying the alarm policy, the monitoring cycle and alarm frequency will restart timing.
  1. Log in to TLS console.
  1. Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.
  1. In the left navigation bar, select Common features > Log alarm > Alarm policy.
  1. On thealarm policypage, click the specified alarm policy name, and click Edit in the upper right corner of the details page.
  • You can also click Edit directly in the alarm policy list page under the Actions column.
  1. Reset the alarm policy based on the prompts on the page.
Copy alarm policy
To quickly create multiple similar alarm policies, you can copy an existing alarm policy. TLS supports copying alarm policies across regions and projects.
  1. Log in to TLS console.
  1. Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.
  1. In the left navigation bar, select Common features > Log alarm > Alarm policy.
  1. On the alarm policy page, select one or more alarm policies and click Copy.
  1. On the batch copy alarm policy page, enter the following information and then click Next: run task.

    Alarm rules
Set a new alarm policy name, monitoring target (log topic), notification group, and alarm status.
    • The number of monitored objects (log topics) in the target alarm policy must match those in the source alarm policy. For example, if the source alarm policy monitors only one log topic, you only need to select one log topic here.
    • You must set a notification group, otherwise alarm may fail.

  1. After the task import status shows Import successful, click Complete.
