If a LogCollector collection configuration exists in the log topic, the log topic cannot be deleted. In addition, some dedicated log topics cannot be deleted. You can troubleshoot this issue using the following methods.

Check whether a LogCollector collection configuration exists in the log topic.

On the log collection page, under the LogCollector log collection tab, check whether there is a LogCollector collection configuration associated with the current log topic. If such a configuration exists, delete it first. For detailed instructions, see View collection configuration information and Delete collection configuration.

Check whether the log topic is a dedicated log topic.

Dedicated log topics related to Trace storage, service logs, and certain cloud product logs cannot be deleted. For details, refer to How to delete log projects and log topics.

Notice

Log resources generated by service logs do not incur any storage fees.

For log topics that cannot be deleted, you can stop billing by shortening their Log storage period. For instructions on modifying the Log storage period, refer to Modify log storage time.
