Overview of query and analysis charts
TLS provides log query and analysis functions. After you collect logs, TLS can analyze your collected data and display the results in chart form. Currently, TLS supports various statistical charts, including tables. You can select suitable chart types based on your business needs to view analysis results.
Chart types
TLS supports the following statistical chart types:
Notice
  • Before viewing analysis data in chart form, you need to make sure: the log data has been successfully collected; the index is configured; analysis is enabled—that is, Index Status in index configuration is set to Enabled index, and the Enable analytics switch is on.
  • You need to execute a query or analysis statement first, TLS will display query and analysis results as statistical charts. The types of statistical charts available depend on the analysis statement. For details, refer to the documentation for each chart type and enter a valid query and analysis statement.
  • The default limit is 100, which means returns 100 rows of data. You can customize the number of rows returned using limit function, with a maximum display of 10,000 rows.
Chart properties
TLS supports a variety of statistical chart property configurations, and each chart type has unique configuration options. In addition to basic settings like title, pagination, and style, you can customize style configurations for specific query results or column data.

Configuration category
Description
Common configuration
Configure global settings for specific types of statistical charts; these settings apply to the entire chart. Supported common configurations include basic settings like title, standard settings like custom unit, style settings like alignment, and advanced settings like thresholds.
For example, if you select Table as the chart type and set Alignment to Center in the Common configuration > Style section, all characters in every column of the table will display centered.
Field configuration
Configure personalized styles for selected data. Field configuration applies only to specified data, such as style settings for specific query and analysis results or designated result fields. The settings in field configuration have the same meaning as those in general settings, and currently only certain chart types support field configuration.
For example, if you select Table as the chart type and set a field name in the Field configuration section, you can set the alignment for this field to center.
Drill-down event
Some statistical charts in TLS support configuring drill-down events. After you save the chart with the drill-down events in your dashboard, you can click the specified field in dashboard to trigger the relevant interaction.
For example, if you set a drill-down event, specify events of field (UV) as the log topic and save the settings, then: when you click any cell in the UV column in the dashboard table and open log topic in the pop-up window, the query and analysis page of the specified topic will display automatically.

FAQs
Q: Why can't query and analysis statements automatically generate statistical charts?
A: TLS can not automatically determine your X-axis, Y-axis, and data values for chart analysis. If you run query and analysis multiple times on the same page, TLS will default to keeping your previous chart analysis settings. If those settings do not match the current query and analysis statements, auto generation of charts might fail. In this case, error may show. You need to configure new chart analysis settings based on your current query and analysis statements.
