Overview
This topic introduces the quick start process for TLS with an example. This example shows how to collect logs from VolcanoEngine ECS instances with Cloud Assistant Agent installed using single-line full-text collection mode; the location is set to North China 2 (Beijing).
Steps
- First you need to register a VolcanoEngine account and complete enterprise verification. After that, you can create basic resources, i.e., log projects and log topics, in TLS console. Log data that is collected subsequently is stored in log topics.
- Using logs collected from VolcanoEngine ECS instances as an example, this topic demonstrates the steps to create a collection configuration in the TLS console.
- After successfully creating a collection configuration, you need to configure the log index. After configuration, you can preview log data in real time on the console and perform log query and analysis.
- TLS provides log query and analysis functions. It filters and selects log data through query and analysis statements and performs statistical analysis and calculations on the filtered results. Query and analysis results can be displayed as statistical charts.
