Enable or disable LogCollector service logs
Except for LogCollector service logs, service logs for other features are enabled by default and can not be manually enabled or disabled. This topic explains how to enable or disable LogCollector service logs.
Enable LogCollector service logs
Notice
- Only LogCollector version 1.0.9 and later support the LogCollector service log feature. For other previous versions, you can see Upgrade LogCollector (Kubernetes cluster) to upgrade guide and then manually enable the service log after upgrading.
- TLS records only service logs generated after enabling LogCollector; logs created before activation are not recorded.
Follow these steps to enable service logs:
- Select the region where log service is located from the top navigation bar.
- On the left navigation bar, select Resource Management > Host Group.
- On the Host group management page, locate the specified host group and click Edit in the Actions column.
- Turn on the LogCollector service log feature switch.
Turn off service logs.
Notice
After disabling the service log feature, log data stored in the dedicated project will be automatically deleted upon expiration.
