This topic introduces the features, usage restrictions, and other information related to DCDN real-time logs.
Features overview
Volcengine Whole Site Acceleration (DCDN) is a network acceleration service. Based on extensive global network resources and technologies such as transmission protocol optimization, intelligent caching, dynamic routing, and security protection, Whole Site Acceleration can speed up the distribution of both static and dynamic content to users, providing fast, reliable, secure, and professional acceleration services to enhance the user access experience.
Whole Site Acceleration provides log management functionality. When processing client requests, Whole Site Acceleration records detailed log information. You can analyze logs to troubleshoot issues. Supports delivering DCDN real-time logs to TLS, allowing you to view and analyze logs directly without decompressing log packages.
The relevant configuration for DCDN real-time log functionality is as follows:

Configuration

Log storage location
After a new log topic is added for DCDN real-time logs, the service creates a dedicated DCDN project and log topic in the corresponding region. For dedicated log resource management, see Manage DCDN log resources.
  • Project: dcdn-log-xxx
  • Log topic: custom creation.
Log retention period
By deault, it is seven days. Logs will be automatically deleted after expiration. You can also modify the log retention period based on your business needs.
