The dedicated log topic for VKE is used to store container logs, component logs, and control plane component logs. Writing other data or modifying index configurations are not supported.

Container logs	The project and topic of this log require to be manually created in TLS console.
Ingress component logs	The project and topic of this log require to be manually created in TLS console.
Control plane component logs	Create a project. Manually create a project in TLS. Select "Auto Create Project" in the VKE console to automatically create a project named vke-k8s-log-<clusterId>. Create a log topic. Edit VKE dedicated log topic

There are no special restrictions for modifying log topics of VKE logs; this process is consistent with modifying regular log topics in TLS. For details, see Edit log topic configuration.

Delete VKE dedicated log topic

When you delete a container, disable Ingress component log collection, disable control plane component log collection, or delete a cluster, the system does not automatically delete the corresponding log project and log topic. You need to log in to the TLS Console and manually delete the corresponding log topic.

There are no special restrictions for deleting log topics of VKE logs; this process is consistent with deleting regular log topics in TLS. For details, see Delete topic.
