This topic explains how you are charged for burst bandwidth.

Example
In the China (Guangzhou) region, the limit for total outflow bandwidth, or total download bandwidth (public + private network) is 10 Gbps. Burst bandwidth was enabled before 09:00:00 on August 18, 2025. Between 09:00:00 and 10:00:00, the total outflow bandwidth significantly peaked, exceeding the limit. During this time, the public outflow bandwidth was 0 Gbps.
The bandwidth usage by minute is shown below:

Cloud Monitor tracks the total outflow bandwidth and its associated limit for TOS on a per-minute basis. In the Cloud Monitor console, you can view the total inflow and outflow bandwidth for each region and master account. For instructions, see Viewing bandwidth usage.
- The total outflow bandwidth from 9:18:00 to 9:19:00 was 15 Gbps.
- The total outflow bandwidth from 9:19:00 to 9:20:00 was 17.5 Gbps.
- The total outflow bandwidth from 9:20:00 to 9:21:00 was 13 Gbps.
- The total outflow bandwidth from 9:21:00 to 9:22:00 was 12.5 Gbps.
We calculate the cost of burst bandwidth as follows:
