Image Processing Experience Center
You can now process images directly in the TOS console. This feature includes options for cropping and adding watermarks, allowing you to quickly and easily configure your image processing settings. This topic describes the constraints, limitations, and steps for processing images directly in the console.
Previously, TOS only supported image processing by including relevant parameters in requests via the GetObject API. For more information, see Image processing overview. To improve the user experience, the TOS console now offers a graphical interface for managing image processing configurations visually, including image cropping. You can adjust the brightness of stored image files and perform other operations directly in the console. After processing, you can either download the files immediately or save them to a specified bucket.
The following image processing operations are supported by the TOS console:
Constraints and limitations
- In the left navigation pane, select Multimedia Experience Center > Image processing.
- On the Image Processing Experience Center page, select the bucket where your image is stored in the top menu bar.
- In the image upload area, click Select image.
- In the Select file dialog box, select the image and click OK.
- In the left action bar, click Crop. Then, select a cropping method and adjust the relevant settings.
- To crop an image using standard cut, first select a starting point on the original image. Then, specify the width and height to define the cropping area.
- To use free cropping, you must first specify the crop ratio. The system will then generate an adjustable cropping area on the image according to the selected ratio. You can then freely drag and resize this area. TOS will then crop the image based on the selected range.
- Once the parameters are configured, TOS will automatically crop the image. You can view the cropped image in the image upload area.
