Mounting with access points
You can mount one or more TOS buckets on Linux using an access point through FSX. Once mounted, you can access the objects stored in these buckets on your Linux system.
Prerequisites
  • Enable transfer acceleration for cross-border scenarios. Otherwise, the head multi-region access point will report an error. For instructions, see Transfer acceleration.
Mounting with a multi-region access point (MRAP)
  1. Type this command into your Linux terminal to create a mount point.
  •
    mkdir /mnt/point

  1. Run this command to mount with the multi-region access point.
  •
    mount -t fsx /tos/<multi-region access point alias> <mount point> -o region="mrap",endpoint="<TOS endpoint>",credential_filepath="<absolute path of credentials file>",no_writeback_cache

  • Example 1 (HTTP):
  •
    mount -t fsx /tos/m0903ae3a****-mrap /mnt/point -o region=mrap,endpoint=http://mrap.accesspoint.tos-global.volces.com,credential_filepath="<absolute path of credentials file>",no_writeback_cache

  • Example 2 (HTTPS):
  •
    mount -t fsx /tos/m0903ae3a****-mrap /mnt/point -o region=mrap,endpoint=https://mrap.accesspoint.tos-global.volces.com,credential_filepath="<absolute path of credentials file>",no_writeback_cache

tip
  • For instructions on how to obtain <multi-region access point alias> or <TOS endpoint>, see Related operations.
  • Multi-region access points are not bound to any specific region. The region field should be designated as mrap for identification purposes only, as the system does not validate this value. Access is achieved directly via multi-region access points.
Mounting with a single-region access point (SRAP)
  1. Type this command into your Linux terminal to create a mount point.
  •
    mkdir /mnt/point

  1. Run this command to mount with the single-region access point.
  •
    mount -t fsx /tos/<single-region access point alias> <mount point> -o region="<region>",endpoint="<TOS endpoint>",credential_filepath="<absolute path of credentials file>",no_writeback_cache

  • Example 1 (HTTP):
  •
    mount -t fsx /tos/srap-019974a98ab77cb78d070cd70e3e****-tosalias /mnt/point -o region=cn-beijing,endpoint=http://tos-cn-beijing.ivolces.com,credential_filepath="<absolute path of credentials file>",no_writeback_cache

  • Example 2 (HTTPS):
  •
    mount -t fsx /tos/srap-019974a98ab77cb78d070cd70e3e****-tosalias /mnt/point -o region=cn-beijing,endpoint=https://tos-cn-beijing.ivolces.com,credential_filepath="<absolute path of credentials file>",no_writeback_cache
