Torch Object Storage
Steps | What it means | How to fix it |
Steps | What it means | How to fix it |
1 | When you access a file with a browser, the browser uses the Content-Type header to determine how to open the file. If the declared content type does not match the actual file type, the browser cannot interpret the content correctly and forces a download. | Set the correct Content-Type according to the file type. For more information, see Managing object metadata. |
2 | The HTTP response header Content-Disposition is set to attachment, which causes the browser to download the object when it is accessed. | |
3 | When you access a webpage object or any type of object in buckets created before January 3, 2024, at 11:59:59 p.m., TOS automatically adds a Content-Disposition: attachment header to the response when using the default domain name. This causes the browser to download the object instead of previewing it. For more information, see Notice Regarding Restricting the Use of Torch Object Storage Default Domains. |
