This topic uses macOS to illustrate how to log in to TOS Browser.
Prerequisites
Logging in to TOS Browser with AK/SK or STS temporary credentials
- After installation, open the login screen by double-clicking the TOS Browser icon.
- On the AK Log in tab, enter your login information, and then click Log in. The parameters are described below.
Logging in to TOS Browser with an account
You can log in to TOS Browser with your account. Once logged in, you will have permissions for the associated objects and folders.
warning
Your TOS Browser account login session lasts 12 hours. After this time, you will be automatically logged out. This may interrupt any ongoing tasks. If you need to run tasks for an extended period, consider logging in to TOS Browser with AK/SK. - After installation, open the login screen by double-clicking the TOS Browser icon.
- On the TOS Browser login screen, click the Account log in tab, and then click Log In.
- By default, your browser will open the Volcano Engine console login page. Enter your account name and password on that page and click Sign in.
- After you log in to the Volcano Engine console, TOS Browser will automatically retrieve your account information and log you in.
tip
If you close the browser while logging in, click Restart browser log in in TOS Browser to reopen the login page. Alternatively, you can click Cancel Log in and log in to TOS Browser again using your account.
Logging in to TOS Browser with a share link
You must obtain the share link before logging in to TOS Browser with it.
warning
- Once you log in to TOS Browser using a share link, you will only have read access to the corresponding object or folder.
- Login information for share links will not be saved in the session history.
- You can create share links through the console or TOS Browser. For instructions, see the Sharing objects and Sharing folders sections in Basic object operations.
- After installation, open the login screen by double-clicking the TOS Browser icon.
- On the TOS Browser login screen, click the Share link log in tab.
- Enter a share link and click Log in.
- After logging in with a share link, you can select multiple objects and click Download to download them in bulk. You can also click One click download all to download all objects.
Logging in to TOS Browser with an authorization code
You must obtain the authorization code before logging in to TOS Browser with it.
tip
- Authorization codes allow you to read and write to specific objects or folders. Compared to share links, authorization codes provide more flexible and precise control over permissions. For more information, see Creating an authorization code.
- Login information for authorization codes will not be saved in the session history.
- After installation, open the login screen by double-clicking the TOS Browser icon.
