FAQ
This topic covers common questions you may have while using TOS Browser.
What are the minimum permissions required for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) user (sub-account) to log in to TOS Browser?
These permissions include the ability to retrieve bucket information and perform basic object operations, such as uploading and downloading objects. The following permission policy can be used to grant these permissions:

{
"Statement": [{
"Effect": "Allow",
"Action": [
"tos:GetObject",
"tos:PutObject",
"tos:DeleteObject",
"tos:GetObjectAcl",
"tos:PutObjectAcl",
"tos:GetObjectVersion",
"tos:DeleteObjectVersion",
"tos:AbortMultipartUpload",
"tos:ListMultipartUploadParts",
"tos:ListBucket",
"tos:HeadBucket",
"tos:ListBuckets",
"tos:ListBucketVersions",
"tos:GetBucketVersioning"
],
"Resource": [
"*"
]
}]
}

You can add more actions to the policy statement to grant the IAM user additional permissions as needed. For actions supported by IAM policies, see IAM policy overview.
After confirming which permissions to grant, create a customer-managed permission policy using the IAM console. Then, assign the policy to the IAM user. For instructions, see Configuring IAM policies and Adding authorization.
Why does a prohibited icon appear when I drag and drop files or folders in TOS Browser on Windows systems?
Running TOS Browser with administrator privileges in Windows prevents dragging files. Please run TOS Browser with standard user privileges.
