You can use the probe command to test the upload or download speed of a single stream.

Testing upload and download speeds using system buckets

There is no need to configure access key ID (AK) and secret access key (SK) when testing speeds with system buckets. After installing tosutil, you can use the probe command to test speeds directly.

-pt	String	The service type for speed testing. The options are as follows: upload (Default): Tests upload speed. download: Tests download speed.
-file	String	The local file path used for testing upload or download speeds. If this parameter is not configured, tosutil will either generate data from memory for uploads or discard downloaded data directly from memory.
-tr	String	The TOS region used for speed testing. Major regions are supported, specifically: cn-beijing (Default): China (Beijing) cn-guangzhou: China (Guangzhou) cn-shanghai: China (Shanghai) ap-southeast-1: Asia Pacific (Johor)
-nt	String	The type of network used for speed testing. The options are as follows: public (Default): Tests the speed of the public network. internal: Tests the speed of the private network.
-ps	String	The size, in bytes, of the object used for speed testing. The default value is 1 GB, with a range of 100 MB to 5 GB. tip This parameter supports configuration with capacity units. For example, there is no need to manually calculate how many bytes are in 100 MB—just write "100 MB," and the program will recognize it.
-timeout	Integer	Sets the timeout for speed testing, in seconds. The default value is 30. The minimum value is also 30.

bucket	String	Use your own bucket for testing.
prefix	String	The name of the object or the name prefix of the objects used for speed testing. Specifically: In an upload speed test, it represents the name of the object or prefix of the objects that will be uploaded to the bucket. If it is a prefix, object names will be randomly generated. In a download speed test, it represents the name of the object to be downloaded from the bucket. tip To test your download speed, select an object that is greater than 20 MB. If the specified object does not exist or has not been set, tosutil will first upload an object and then measure the speed. By default, tosutil deletes the uploaded object during the test. However, factors such as network speed or permissions may prevent deletion. In such cases, tosutil will report a deletion failure error. To avoid storage costs, we recommend manually removing the test object.
