Using single-region access points
Once a single-region access point is created, TOS automatically generates an alias. You can share this alias with other users, who can then access TOS resources through the single-region access point. This topic describes how to use a single-region access point to access TOS resources.
Alias
Once a single-region access point is created, TOS automatically generates an alias. This alias is always unique and cannot be modified. Accessing a bucket typically requires including the bucket name in the request. However, when accessing a bucket through a single-region access point, you do not need to specify the bucket name. Instead, specify the access point alias. TOS will then route the request to the resource through the alias.
Supported operations
Not all operations are supported when you access TOS through a single-region access point. For more information, see API operations supported by single-region access points.
Notes
Single-region access points do not support anonymous access.
Steps

Use a single-region access point via API
Use a single-region access point via SDK
Use a single-region access point via tosutil

  1. Obtain the single-region access point alias.
  1. Log in to the TOS console.
  1. In the left navigation pane, select Access point > Single-Region Access Point.
  1. On the Single-Region Access Point page, click the single-region access point you want to manage.
  1. On the Overview tab, locate the access point alias in the Basic information section. Then, find the TOS Endpoint in the Domain name section.
  1. Use the single-region access point.
  • To use the single-region access point when accessing TOS via API, replace the Host in the request with <alias>.<TOS Endpoint>. Leave the other parameters as they are. For more information, see API overview.
  • The following example shows how to download an object (ai.png) via GetObject using the alias test-01976881ee547ed28a05b5ecaf93****-tosalias.
  •
    GET /ai.png HTTP/1.1
    Host: test-01976881ee547ed28a05b5ecaf93****-tosalias.tos-cn-beijing.volces.com
    Date: Fri, 30 Jul 2021 08:05:36 GMT
