To effectively protect your data, the TOS console offers security configuration options for deleting data. This topic describes the feature and provides guidance for configuring these settings.

Introduction

You can configure the system prompt level for dangerous operations via security configurations. When the prompt level is high, you must confirm data deletion manually through the console. This reduces the likelihood of accidental data deletion. At a low prompt level, a risk prompt window appears, but manual confirmation is not required.

Security configurations only apply to TOS buckets and do not affect other services.

The prompt level for dangerous operations is set to high by default. If you need to adjust it to low, follow the steps below.

In the left navigation pane, click Security configurations. Then, toggle the High Level switch off.
