Overview
TOS allows you to track your bucket's status and usage via various monitoring channels, such as Cloud Monitor and CloudTrail. This topic describes the monitoring methods and supported metrics.
Bucket names are globally unique. If you delete a bucket and then create a new one with the same name, the monitoring and alerting rules of the deleted bucket will apply to the new one.
- To monitor the status of TOS resources, create alarm strategies through Cloud Monitor. The system will push notifications via the specified channel when a monitored metric meets the trigger conditions, helping you promptly identify resources with abnormal data. For more information, see Alarm principle and Creating alarm strategies.
- To monitor TOS-related events, create event rules through Cloud Monitor. The system will push notifications via the specified channel when a monitored event occurs, allowing you to promptly detect abnormal events. For more information, see Creating event rules.
Monitoring data retention period
The monitoring data will be automatically deleted after expiration. For how long the monitoring data of TOS will be kept, see Cloud Service Monitor. Accessing monitoring data
You can access TOS-related monitoring data via the API or SDKs offered by Cloud Monitor. Learn more in the following documents:
