Industries with high requirements for compliance and security
DDH provides a single-user environment with dedicated physical server resources. That is, the user exclusively occupies the physical host, ensuring greater control and physical isolation of resources from other users, thereby meeting the user requirements for compliance and security.
Industries highly sensitive to performance stability
Compared with general businesses, certain special scenarios (such as gaming and financial securities) require higher server performance, stability, and real-time responsiveness. DDH allows exclusive access to all resources of the host, such as CPU, memory, and network interface, enhancing the stability of CPU and network I/O resources for your business. This ensures reliable and stable operation of applications.
Users who require independent planning of resource deployment
For scenarios where independent planning and deployment of resources are required, you can specify a DDH to create ECS instances. DDH also provides the automatic deployment feature, allowing you to create ECS instances on the specified DDH or by using the automatic deployment feature. By using DDH, you can obtain the topology of ECS instances and the hosts, and flexibly migrate ECS instances between different hosts (between DDHs, or between a DDH and a shared host) as needed. Flexible deployment and migration can enhance your application orchestration capabilities.
Users who require Bring Your Own License (BYOL) for cloud migration
DDH supports licenses authenticated based on the number of physical CPU cores, CPU socket count, number of virtual machines, and other metrics, and is subject to the terms of these licenses. If you already have operating system or software licenses, when migrating your business to DDH, you can fully migrate your business using the BYOL approach. This way, you can continue using your existing licenses, and reduce the cost for migrating your business to the cloud. The licenses involved include, but are not limited to, qualified software licenses (such as Windows Server, SQL Server) provided by Microsoft and Oracle.
