Setting automatic deployment
Once automatic deployment is enabled for a DDH, the system will add the DDH to the resource pool for automatic instance deployment. You can create an instance without specifying a DDH. Instead, the system will select an appropriate DDH from the resource pool for automatic instance deployment to deploy the instance. This helps improve the flexibility of resource deployment.
You can enable automatic deployment for a DDH during its creation. For more information, see Purchasing DDHs. Alternatively, you can follow the instructions in this topic to enable automatic deployment for an existing DDH. Procedure
- In the top menu bar, select the region where your business is located.
- On the DDH list page, use either of the following methods to access the page for setting automatic deployment.
- Click the "··· > Set automatic deployment" button in the "Actions" column of the target host.
- Click the target host to enter the host overview page, and then click the "··· > Change CPU oversubscription ratio" button in the upper right corner.
- In the dialog box that appears, select or clear "Allow automatic deployment".
- Click the " Confirm" button to complete the operation.
