Migrating DDHs at risk of failure
Migrating DDHs at risk of failure
If a DDH is at potential risk of failure or is down due to a fault, meaning it is in the Host at risk or Temporarily unavailable state, the ECS instances deployed on this DDH may be affected. You can refer to this topic to migrate the at-risk DDH to another healthy host, preventing your business from being disrupted by host failures. This operation will not modify any configurations of the DDH or its associated ECS instances.
You can check the status of a DDH in the "Status" column on the DDH list page.
Migrate a DDH via OpenAPI
Host at risk state
Temporarily unavailable state
You can enable automatic migration upon shutdown for the DDH in advance. Once automatic migration upon shutdown is enabled, the DDH will be automatically migrated to a healthy host if it shuts down due to a fault. If automatic migration upon shutdown is not enabled, you can manually migrate the DDH by calling the RedeployDedicatedHost operation after the DDH shuts down due to a fault. For instructions on enabling automatic migration upon shutdown, refer to the following topics: Migrate a DDH in the console
This feature is about to go live. Stay tuned.
