Snapshot billing
This topic explains the billing methods, unit prices, and billing examples for snapshots.
Notes
Snapshots are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. The cost is determined by the size of the snapshot and how long it is retained. Billing stops once all snapshots have been deleted and all auto-snapshot policies have been removed from volumes.

Related documentation
Pay-as-you-go
A post-paid model where you use resources first and pay later. The billing cycle is one hour.
Formula: Snapshot cost = Unit price × Snapshot size × Retention time
¥/GiB/hour

Cross-region snapshot replication
  • Replicating custom images across regions requires replicating the associated snapshots. This incurs cross-region snapshot replication charges.
  • Data transfer cost for replicating a snapshot across regions = Unit price × Snapshot size
Examples
Assume you have a 500-GiB snapshot in China (Beijing) for 20 days. The snapshot cost is calculated as follows:
Snapshot cost = 0.0001375 × 24 × 20 × 500 = ¥33
