Setting patch baseline as default baseline
The system provides default preset patch baselines. You can also set a self-created patch baseline as the default patch baseline as needed. Once set, this baseline will become the global default patch baseline of the corresponding operating system.
You can also set a patch baseline as the default patch baseline when creating it. Learn more.
Usage notes
  • Only one default patch baseline can be set for each operating system type. Setting a new default baseline will replace the current one (including any preset system baseline).
  • The new default patch baseline only applies to newly created patch plans. Existing patch plans will retain the default baseline that was in effect at the time of their creation.
Procedure
  1. Log in to the ECS console.
  1. In the left-side navigation pane, select "Maintenance & Monitoring > Patch Management".
  1. In the top menu bar, select the region where your business is located.
  1. On the Patch management page, click the "Patch baseline" tab.
  1. In the "Actions" column of the target patch baseline, click the "Set as default" button.
  1. After you confirm the information, click the "Confirm" button.
